“Mobile Electron Spin Qubits: Si ICs meet Superfluid Helium”

Location: Building 71, Conference Room 264
Date: Thursday, May 16, 2019
Time: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Stephen Lyon received a PhD in Applied Physics from Caltech and is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University, where he has worked on semiconductor physics and devices. His research has included studies of the Si/SiO2 interface, electrons in AlGaAs/GaAs quantum wells, the MBE growth and optical properties of InAs self-assembled quantum dots embedded in GaAs, and most recently electron spin quantum bits in Si and on the surface of superfluid helium. http://ee.princeton.edu/research/lyon/
