In May, we celebrated Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage (AANHPI) Month. The event recognizes the contributions and influence—past, present, and future—of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
From state-of-the-art research and leadership to the behind-the-scenes support roles that make science possible, people of AANHPI heritage are integral to ATAP and Berkeley Lab. To recognize and honor this contribution, the Lab’s Asian Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group ran several events from April through June.
