Drew Bertwistle is a staff scientist in the ALS Accelerator Physics Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is an experimentalist at the intersection of accelerators, instrumentation, and synchrotron radiation. During his career he has developed experience in accelerator physics, electromagnetic modeling, protein crystallography, instrumentation and diagnostics, soft x-ray spectro-microscopy, and control systems. He is a Member (2015-present) of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
