In the last few years, we have held a successful Multi-Lab Safety Week event in collaboration with our sister labs. This year, we will once again have a joint Multi-Lab activity with the Magnet Division, the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider Accelerator Upgrade Project, and theAccelerator Controls Operations Research Network (ACORN) Project at Fermilab, and with the Magnet Division at Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Accelerator Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory, and the Accelerator Directorate at SLAC National Laboratory, joining ATAP. Our colleagues from the Berkeley Lab SES and Facilities Divisions will also join ATAP in this annual event. There may be other divisions at Berkeley Lab joining this event.

Safety Week has become a successful tradition in ATAP since 2015. This year, our overall theme is “Safety during Experimental Planning and On-Boarding” with an emphasis on the importance of training our stakeholders – employees, students, sub-contractors, and affiliates before performing work. Multi-Lab Safety Week will be an all-hands, all-hazards event with ongoing learning and education opportunities. During this annual event, ATAP Programs will be setting aside times that work best for them to participate in specific safety activities.
