The ATAP Operations Team retreat was designed to strengthen connections between team members in a fun, informative, and meaningful way. The retreat also served as an opportunity to welcome and integrate new team members recently hired.

We focused on building connections through team-building exercises and expressions of gratitude for one another. Cross-functional teams gathered to brainstorm on process improvements and identified new initiatives for FY25/26 that support the researchers and leadership teams.

ATAP’s Deputy Division Director of Operations, Asmita Patel, thanked the team for their “contributions throughout the year and ongoing contribution to supporting the division’s and Lab’s goals and strategic vision.”

While the day was primarily a celebration of this year’s accomplishments and an opportunity to identify ways to better serve the division and Lab, it was also an opportunity to have fun, relax, and enjoy each other’s company at the beautiful UC Botanical Garden at Berkeley.
