June is Pride Month when we celebrate LGBTQ+ identity with love and pride and reflect on the ongoing challenges impacting the LGBTQ+ community.

The Lab’s Lambada Alliance Employee Resource Group is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming working environment for Sexual orientation and Gender Minority (SGM) employees. On Sunday, June 24, the Lab participated in the 2023 San Francisco Pride Parade to celebrate Pride Month. Participants marched alongside the Lab’s pride parade vehicle as the parade went from the Embarcadero in San Francisco down Market Street to the celebration at the Civic Center. On Saturday, June 24, the Lab also had a booth at the Civic Center in San Francisco. The booth served as an ambassador for the Lab and its scientific research, with volunteers helping to explain some hands-on demonstrations and displays.
