Ji Qiang is a senior scientist in the Accelerator Technology and Applied Physics Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests include using high performance parallel computers to study beam physics in particle accelerators, such as space-charge and beam-beam effects in high brightness accelerators and colliders. He received a BS in optoelectronics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and the MS and PhD in Nuclear Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
