Marco Garten is a postdoctoral scholar in the Advanced Modeling Program of the Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics Division. As part of the WarpX team, he specializes in computational modeling of plasma-based particle accelerators for future applications. He is involved in designing staged laser-driven electron accelerators for the decadal vision of a 10 TeV parton center-of-mass collider concept, as well as in large-scale simulation studies for inertial fusion energy (IFE) from proton fast ignition (PFI).
